I have had worldspace connection from 2006, as it was a Birthday gift for my wife. The connection was in the name of Sangeeta Rupesh Pillai. Ever since we had purchased the same, we've had trouble listening to uniterrupted music. Everytime I log a complain or call the technician, they say it is because of trees in the surrounding, signal is not received properly (why do they run business if they have problems in signal reception???). The technician changes the position and angle of the antenna and we listen to music. But the time he steps out and another tree pops up in the locality, worldspace signal reception problem starts... this has beenoccuring for the last 3 years. And time and again i get a technician to fix it for me. And also, please remember everytime a technician comes to change the position of the antenna, I'll have to pay him around Rs 100-150. In June 2009, i faced the same issue as always and got one technician. He changed the position and since there was no power, he tested it with his radio and was working fine. Buit as soon as the power supply was back, I turned on worldspace to hear the crackling interrupted music. I called the technician and on checking he said the receiver needs to be sent for service. After few days, I get a call from worldspace service centre saying that there a chip had to be replaced, because of which I was facing this problem. I need to pay Rs 900 to get it replaced,a s it was out of warranty.All these years they were talking about the position of the antenna and finally they sday it is the chip. I call up the technician ans ask him to confirm if i replace the chip, will the issue be resolved, and he cannot assure me that since he too is aware of the signal issue of worldspace and he claims that it is a know problem. On what guarantee do i need to pay them the amount of rs 900 to face the same problem again... I told them the same abd said that I shall check the performance of the device and then make the payment. They said that wouldn't be possible and haven't got back to me till date. I had made the annual subscription and now I don't have the device, nor I have my money. And it seems that worldspace is not bothered at all. I need help. Thanks Was this information helpful? |
