Hi i purchased Aveo -UVA from Metro chevrolet vasant kunj on 1st Oct-2008 and in next 5-6 days i purchased accessories from local car dealer and i went for XENOS centre locking system .as far as working of center lock is concerned it is working absolutely fine. Now when this year due to heavy rain i noticed good amount of water is coming inside my car . I Took the car to service centre and they told me that it is because of centre locking which is installed incorrectly i will explain you how
All the rubers when we make a hole to pass the centre locking cables the person who was installing it made very big holes where in you can pass atleast 5 cables from that....moreover some rubbers he totaly removed them so now i dont have any rubber at the door channels....But the XENOS is saying that it is not because of centre locking and moreover i have the JOB CARD from chevrolet in which they have mentioned that centre locking is wrongly insalled .
When i ask XENOS to uninstall the centre locking setup they refused , they said they can disconnect the cables but they will not remove it or take out . I dont know why and neither they are giving me any reason for that.....
can you tell me can it lead to wiring problem in car ?? and pls tell me what should i do now....
clearly i can see big holes in those rubbers and some rubbers are missing from door channels....
i have the bill for center lock as well
