I registered my domain name with yahoo 2 years back under promotional offer of $1.99. One later year, they informed me that it will be $9.99 from this year. I said Ok and got it done. This year they told me its $34.95. I never assumed it could be so high so I ordered for domain transfer with another registrar but Yahoo did not allow to get my domain transferred. And I did not have any option but to pay $34.95 (highest in the industry, 99% of domain registrar charge around $10.).
This is not the end. I also thought to use Yahoo Search Marketing and used $60 towards the same but the result was pathetic with no conversion and all bogus click. I had $55 in my account so $5 became due in later date. and they kept me sending a message that They could not charge my credit card because it is expired. after checking from my credit card company, i understood that my account has already got debited from Yahoo Search Marketing.
And today I received my credit card statement and surprised to see that my account has been charged $5 for 19 times (total of $95) instead of $5. and they credited my yahoo search marketing account my this amount.
But who wants to use yahoo search marketing which has such a pathetic result. Yahoo cheated me total of $115.
