We had booked a flat in 2004 in siddhart appt vakola santa cruz east, mumbai 400055. The builder developer chandreshekar ganpat rane - cosmos enterprises had promised us the flat possessions by 2006. But now it's 28/04/2016 even after 10 years and after undertaking under national consumer court the builder is still not giving possession.
We are bunch of retired senior citizens, we have put our whole hard earned money in the project. We are jobless and have no income, we have to stay on rent, and we have to face many difficulties regarding official documents like aadhar card, passport, our children don’t get proper work or any facility as we don't have a proper address proof. One of our member retired air india staff is not doing a watchman job for his earning, for his living if he or we had the flat possession on time this scenario wouldn’t had happened.
The flat is ready but the builder is not giving possession, in spite of paying the full amount of the flat and additional interest as said by the consumer court,
He is no longer operative from his old office and even has changed his contact numbers without any intimation to the court or to the buyers.
He has handed over the plot to some local builder developer – which on inquired found to be operated by brain miranda corporator from h - east ward. When we went to his site office, the officials over there declined to give possessions of the said flats which we had booked, on questioning he told us that the registered agreements has no value on date. When the court has decided, and verified who is he to give such a statement, are the builders and developers above the indian law.
After all the hard work, a person cannot get a roof to stay in peace, i ask the authorities if there a justice left in this country, i have full faith on our law, but when will i get justice i don't know.
I feel like i am waiting for something, which is not going to happen……..

Chandrashekar ganpat rane builder & developer jogeshwari east is found to be missing after getting warrants from state commission.
After hearing this his wife launched his missing complaint in jogeshwari police station and claimed that he had ran away after police came asking for him. During this investigation police found that he had ran to his native in ratnagiri and his wife was in good communication with him.
Is his wife involved in helping him abscond and misdirected the police from investigation, if yes strict action should be taken by the mumbai police against her.
I request the police commissioner of mumbai to please take strict action in such cases so that there is relief for comman man.
