Cotsvilla resort , Sethumadai, Pollachi — deficiency of service and mental agony

I am Dr.S.Murugan, Professor in Annamalai University. I booked a hoilday in Cotsvilla resort on Jan 5th for 2 nights from[protected] to[protected] in Dukes cottage which was assured by them over email and i also made an advance of Rs12229 for 2 rooms. When i reached there on[protected] at 2 P.M they gave me a much lower category room and alloted Dukes cottage to some other guests. They assured me at 6 P.M i will be given equal category room. My whole family refused to accomodate in the lower category and stayed out till 6 P.M. At 7 P.M the manager Mr.Ramakrishnan said he cant give equal category room. It was already late and my family was stranded there . with embarassment and agony i booked another resort nearby. They didnt return the advance and i fell short of money in paying the bills in alternate resort. From 16th morning i have called Mr.Ramakrishnan several times for refund. He continued give me false promises and even today continues the same. This amounts to cheating and causing sever mental agony to me and my family. I request you to take severe action against the management who may do the same thing in future to other innocent customers. Please do the needful to recover my advance along with heavy penalty so that they do not repeat this in future.
