Hi,
While purchasing an LG Dual Inverter AC in 2022, I also opted for your 3-year Asset Care Plan.
Here are my details for reference:
Membership Number: AS1373567
Extended Warranty End date: 12-Feb-2026
Service History:
I have availed 1 Preventive Maintenance (PM) service and raised 1 technical issue (which was later deemed non-technical, and I paid for that service).
A few months ago, I contacted your executive, who confirmed that I was still eligible for 1 more PM service. I requested it, but no local service team followed up.
When I contacted the CPP team again, I was told I am no longer eligible for PM service.
This is confusing and frustrating. According to your executive:
The AC was purchased in 2022.
The first PM service should have been done during the manufacturer warranty period.
Since I didn’t avail it then, it is now considered expired.
I am currently in the third year of the extended warranty, and now I’m being told I’m not eligible for any service?
This logic seems flawed. If I had only a 1-year extended warranty, would that mean I had to complete all services during the manufacturer’s warranty period? That defeats the purpose of an extended plan.
Current Issue:
My AC is not cooling properly and needs immediate servicing. I have been trying to reach your team via phone for the past couple of months without success.
Please look into this matter urgently and arrange for the required service.
