Craftedge Academy — Failure of Classes and delaying to Refund Course Fees

I enrolled in the Data Science course offered by Craftedge Academy in February 7, 2026 and paid a course fee of ₹30, 000 based on the representations and assurances made by the academy regarding the quality of training, regularity of classes, and timely completion of the course.

Unfortunately, since my enrollment, Craftedge Academy has failed to provide the educational services that were promised. I am not certain of the exact enrollment date, but it was around January/February 2026 (possibly 7 February 2026). Despite the considerable amount of time that has passed, less than 10% of the course has been completed.

The classes have been conducted only for short periods and have repeatedly been discontinued for several weeks or even months without any prior notice, proper explanation, or reasonable justification. This has caused significant disruption to my studies and career plans.

Students, including myself, have repeatedly been forced to contact the academy to obtain updates regarding the continuation of classes. On multiple occasions, the academy has stated that there are “backend issues” and has assured us that the classes would resume regularly. However, despite these repeated assurances, the same problem has continued and no permanent or satisfactory solution has been provided.

I have also visited the academy/campus multiple times, made repeated phone calls, and sent messages and communications seeking clarification and requesting that the course be conducted as promised. Despite these repeated efforts, the academy has failed to provide a satisfactory resolution or ensure the regular continuation of the course.

The academy has already collected the full course fee from me but has failed to fulfil its obligations and provide the promised educational services. This amounts to a serious deficiency in service and has caused me financial loss, substantial loss of valuable time, inconvenience, mental stress, and disruption to my career plans.

I specifically enrolled in this Data Science course to improve my professional skills and career prospects. I relied upon the academy's representations when making the payment. However, due to the academy's failure to conduct the course properly and within a reasonable period, I have been deprived of the educational benefit for which I paid.

Reliefs Sought

In view of the above facts and circumstances, I respectfully request the Hon'ble Consumer Commission to:

Direct Craftedge Academy to refund the full course fee of ₹60, 000 for the Data Science course.

Award appropriate compensation for the mental stress, inconvenience, loss of time, financial loss, and disruption to my career caused by the academy's deficient service.

Direct Craftedge Academy to bear the litigation costs and other reasonable expenses incurred by me in pursuing this complaint.

Grant any other relief, compensation, or order that the Hon'ble Commission may deem just, proper, and appropriate in the interest of justice.

I have attached copies of my payment receipts, communications with the academy, screenshots of chats/messages, records of my attempts to contact the academy, and other relevant documents in support of my complaint.

I respectfully request the Hon'ble Commission to take the matter into consideration and provide appropriate relief, as I have made repeated attempts to resolve the issue directly with Craftedge Academy but have not received a satisfactory resolution.
