I am filing this complaint to report a deeply concerning and potentially fraudulent experience I have had with Crossbeats (https://crossbeats.com), a consumer electronics company currently advertising their product "Lumex Flix" extensively across online platforms.
Summary of the Incident:
On 5th July 2025, I was contacted by a representative of Crossbeats who offered me a discount on the Lumex Flix product and directed me to a payment link via WhatsApp. I was instructed to make the payment through this link and share a screenshot afterward, after which I would receive an order ID and invoice.
I followed all instructions and completed the payment of ₹13499 at 11:38 am. However, I realized afterward that:
- The payment link did not ask for my name, delivery address, or contact information.
- No order ID or invoice was shared, even after repeated follow-ups.
- The representative who had contacted me stopped responding shortly after receiving the payment screenshot.
- After making multiple calls for hours, I was finally told it would take 24 hours to receive any confirmation—this is unacceptable and reeks of negligence, if not deliberate deception.
- This transaction has now been pending for over 3 hours without any official acknowledgment, receipt, or confirmation of my order or delivery details.
This experience appears to be a serious breach of consumer rights, including:
- Unfair trade practices
- Lack of transparency
- Failure to provide proof of transaction
- Failure to fulfill promised post-payment communication
I request that the concerned consumer protection body take immediate action against Crossbeats for this misleading and distressing sales tactic. I am attaching payment proof and screenshots of the WhatsApp communication (if required) for your reference.
Relief Sought:
Refund if the order cannot be confirmed.
Looking forward to swift redressal of this matter.
