We have bought cummins diesel generator 300 kva - 2 nos in the year 2016 & 2017. Both the models were causing failures and troubles like engine failure, alternator problem, fuel injector not working. The genest contains only 2 main parts - engine and alternator.in this model, both were a failure. We have repaired both at our own cost. Alternator repair amount is rs.1, 17, 600-

We have changed fuel injector for 3 times. Approx cost for each time is rs.65000-

Due to the purchase of the worst quality engine and alternator, we have lost nearly 4 lakhs for spares and 2 lakh for service. Apart from this, due to the interruption, we have lost nealy 15 lakhs. Total value is equivalent to the cost of the generator.
So we suggest you to not buy the cummins gensets.
