I bought MOTO G5S from you through Amazon on 21 Aug 2018. Now, for last one week, this mob is not getting charged in a normal manner. I went to BG Gadget Pvt Ltd the authorised service center. My phone has fallen down some six months ago, and the screen has developed a crack. On noticing this, they said that the charging drive has to be replaced and I have to pay Rs. 1850/- for the same. I argued that the phone is in warranty period and as such, they should not charge me for replacing the damaged component. But they say that since the phone is damaged it cannot be covered under warranty, further, they said that since while carrying out repair if the screen is burnt they will not be responsible and I will have to bear the loss. I fail to understand what relation the damage has got with the defect in component. In short, I have to pay Rs. 1850/- and put my phone in jeopardy.
Will you please advise immediately, since my warranty period expires on 20 Aug, 2019.
