I am Nikhil Zagade, hereby file this formal complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, against De Feliz Vacation Pvt. Ltd., for indulging in fraudulent vacation membership schemes, deficiency in service, misrepresentation, and failure to refund the paid amount of ₹40, 000. Background and Details of the Complaint: On 12th February 2025, while I and my wife were traveling in Calangute, Goa, we were approached by a person named Kaushik, who invited us to attend a promotional session at Renest Hotels & Resort, 4th Floor. There, we met representatives Mr. Uttam and Mr. Alap, who showcased their vacation membership plan as part of a reputed and trustworthy brand. They convinced us of its legality and benefits. On 14th February 2025, we agreed to purchase a 5-year vacation membership plan and paid ₹40, 000 at their Goa office. The membership plan promised: 24 free vacation days Easy and smooth hotel bookings Prompt customer support and guidance However, after making the payment, we faced complete non-fulfillment of these promises. When we contacted the customer support for booking assistance, we were told: "Sorry, we cannot do that. You have to arrange the bookings on your own." This is completely contrary to what was assured during the agreement. Despite repeated follow-ups over the last month, via emails and calls to Uttam, Alap, and Kavita, no resolution or refund has been provided. All we received were vague responses like "we are working on it" with no action. I even requested cancellation of the membership and refund, but received no official response. It has now become clear that the company is evading all accountability. Upon researching online, I discovered numerous complaints by other consumers facing similar issues with this company. Shockingly, some reports even suggest lack of police action in Goa, indicating potential local complicity or negligence.
