My parcel was booked with Delhivery on 30/07/2026, with an expected delivery time of 5–6 days. The parcel contained medicines.
On 11/08/2026 morning, Delhivery Customer Care called me regarding the delivery. I clearly confirmed my complete address, and I was told that the delivery would be arranged.
However, without any delivery attempt or prior information, the parcel was subsequently marked RTO/Returned. I came to know about this only after checking the tracking status myself.
When I contacted the Delhivery office, I was informed that the reason was:
“Returned as per Security Instructions | ODA Location – Non-serviceable.”
My question is: If the location was non-serviceable, why was the parcel accepted on 30/07/2026 and processed for so many days? Why was this not informed earlier? And why did Customer Care confirm my address and assure delivery on the same morning?
The parcel contained medicines. Although they were not extremely urgent, I was willing to accept a delay—but returning the parcel without even attempting delivery is completely unacceptable.
I request Delhivery to investigate this issue and explain why my shipment was returned without a delivery attempt.
