⚠️ TOURIST WARNING: DOUBLE FRAUD ALERT BY SAME OPERATOR (PTW HOLIDAY PVT LTD & DEMANDSETU TOURS) ⚠️
This is a public safety warning for all travelers and tourism bodies. The proprietor, Rahil Samyal, is operating an organized travel racket across multiple agency names including PTW Holiday Pvt. Ltd. and Demandsetu Tours (Registered in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh).
My brother, Tripati Patro, and I booked a 5N/6D Meghalaya package for our family (4 adults, 3 minor children) with a total package value of INR 76, 000. We transferred an explicit booking amount of INR 30, 000 out of our pockets via PhonePe UPI (Handle: [protected][protected]@pnb).
Once the money was received, the operator pocketed the entire INR 30, 000 and paid absolutely ZERO to the local vehicle drivers and booked hotels. They left our entire family, including three young children, completely stranded in an unfamiliar region. To ensure our family’s basic safety, Tripati and I had to clear every single bill all over again out of our own pockets—paying the properties (Galaxy Inn, Tesco Resort, Banalari Pine Inn, Four Seasons Eco Resort) and the driver directly.
Taking booking advances and completely defaulting on operational vendors is open commercial cheating. This alert is being raised to warn the public, the Ministry of Tourism, and National Consumer forums to black-list PTW Holiday Pvt. Ltd. and Demandsetu Tours immediately.
