Dessert Holidays — Complaint against fraudulent activities by "Dessert Holidays"

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious case of fraud and misconduct perpetrated by the travel agency "Dessert Holidays." I am deeply aggrieved by the actions of these entities, and I seek your intervention in this matter to ensure justice is served.

I engaged the services of "Dessert Holidays" known as “R K Tourism” to obtain seven UAE 60-day visas for my clients. The application was made on [15 June 2023] with the understanding that the visas would be processed and delivered by 3 to 4 Working Days, well in advance of my clients' travel dates. Unfortunately, the agency has failed to fulfill its obligations, and the situation has only worsened since.

Despite repeated assurances from the representative of "Deaaert Holidays, " known as “R K tourism” Mr. Uvi Ahah, Umesh Shah, Ujjwal Shah, so many names like travel company, the visas have not been provided within the promised timeline. On several occasions, Mr. Shah assured me that the visas would be ready by "today or tomorrow, " yet those promises were never fulfilled. Moreover, Mr. Shah offered to refund the amount paid for the seven visas, which amounted to a total of ₹76, 993/-. However, he has only refunded a sum of ₹10, 999/- for one visa, leaving a significant outstanding amount.

To compound matters, all attempts to communicate with Mr.Shah have proven futile. His contact number has been switched off, and despite sending numerous emails seeking clarification and resolution, no response has been received from him or the agency. This lack of communication and failure to fulfill their obligations demonstrate a clear intent to deceive and defraud customers.

I hereby request the Consumer Court to take immediate action against "Dessert Holidays" known as R K Tourism for their fraudulent activities. I seek the following reliefs:

Full refund of the outstanding amount of ₹66, 994/-, which is the remaining balance of the visa fees.
Compensation for the mental agony, financial loss, and inconvenience caused due to the agency's misconduct.
Appropriate penalties and legal action against the agency to prevent further victimization of innocent consumers.
Any other relief deemed fit and just by the Consumer Court.
I have attached copies of all relevant documents, including receipts of payment, email correspondences, and any other evidence that substantiates my claim.

I have complete faith in the Indian consumer justice system and believe that you will address this matter with utmost urgency and fairness. I trust that the Consumer Court will ensure the swift resolution of this dispute, holding "Dessert Holidays" accountable for their unethical practices and restoring justice for affected customers.
