Hi, I am Saumyajit Das. I have a account in Dhani app. They provide me credit of 5000 Rs at the cost of 200 Rs per month.I purchased a product from Amazon using there credit limit. The transaction amount was 419 Rs. But they deducted 569 Rs from the credit limit. When I asked their customer care agent named Swati, she told me that 150 Rs has been charged on my transaction. According to her this 150 Rs was government stamp duty charge. There were not notification at the time of transaction. There were no such rule included in the term & condition when I was applying for the credit limit in Dhani app. The customer service agent simply refused to provide me any document regarding the charges. This looks like a fraud to me. They are advertising by saying 0% interest. But in actual they are charging 200 Rs per month as processing fee for 5000 Rs credit line and 150 Rs as government stamp duty. I am willing to pay the original transaction amount, that is 419 Rs. The 1st EMI of 190 Rs is already deducted from my account. Please help me solve the problem. Was this information helpful? |
