I would like to bring to your notice and immediate necessary action that I Sreeja Jayakumar, residing at ECity Phase 1, Bangalore and working as Manager at an IT MNC has been victim to a serious fraud by a criminal named Sunish Pillai, S/0Soman Pillai. I am a single mother, divorced for the past 10 years and I had created a matrimony ID on Divorce matrimony to find a suitable life partner. Sunish met me through Divorce matrimony ( ID : DVM2911302) and expressed his interest to marry me. He got my number from Divorce matrimony platform and connected with me on 12/Dec/2021 through whatsapp to take the proposal forward.

Sunish mentioned complete fake details about him in the matrimony site and made me believe that he is an MBA graduate. He had mentioned his age as 45 in the matrimony site and mentioned incorrect education details. His actual age is only 32 as I got to know when I verified his aadhar details later when he had already cheated me of a lot of money..

The accused only intention was to sexually exploit me, deceive me, cheat and defraud me by making me believe that he has married me. When the relationship between us grew he requested financial support from me multiple times. I took an extension of 30 lakhs over my housing loan and pledged all my gold jewelry believing the words of the accused. Altogether, the accused took around 55 lakhs from me. In the month of May 2022, I came to know from another woman that she was also cheated and sexually exploited by Sunish Pillai through Divorce matrimony. I also came to know that the accused got married again to someone on 27/04/2022 at Guruvayur Temple, Kerala.

There is already an FIR filed against Sunish Pillai in this regard atAtholi police station, Kozhikode, Kerala (0181/2022)I have got proof tha the married and cheated multiple women through the platform and is still continuing to do the same. This kind of cheating is happening as this matrimony platform are not adhering to the IT ministry guidelines that the Users should be authenticating themselves by giving identity and address proof.

I also understood that all the details entered in Divorce matrimony and documents he showed regarding the education and business were fake and the accused has married multiple times and the accused used to extract money and sexually exploit these hapless women by making them believe that he has married these women. The accused fakes his age and profession and approaches settled divorced women and loot them of their hard-earned money and sexually exploit them. I have decided to go ahead with a legal FIR and case against Sunish pillai for utilizing matrimony platform to commit such heinous criminal activity. He is also having a criminal background as there as active kidnapping cases and look out notice against him in Kerala When I tried to check his profile again I could see that he had deleted the id from the system.
