My Wife had a LASIK treatment of eyes done by VISION NEXT( Dr. Ambarish Darak) this February ... which cost to me more than one lakh. Decision was done on the basis of initial checkup done in his clinic and they confirmed she can get the LASIK done. Strange to the story is, after surgery is done, all later checkups and follow up were done by his clinic staff(Don’t know if they are qualified enough or not). Doctor was nowhere. That’s still ok, the staff might have been trained to do that. Later in August (just 6 months after treatment), my wife started getting blurriness in eyes. We went for checkup in VISION NEXT, doctor was not available, hence some staff person told her to use some drops for a month. Nothing benefitted. Again she went around a month later, again a staff member told her to continue with drops for another 15 days and visit again after 15 days. She went around after 20 days to meet the staff member, as doctor was again not in clinic. Staff member had done some testing also. That staff person told her to come again after 2-3 days and meet doctor. She went again after giving them prior call and confirming that doctor is available. This time doctor was there in clinic but he didn’t meet her. He kept sitting in his cabin and didn’t bother to come out or call her inside to talk to her . His staff person only suggested her the enhanced surgery. Enhanced Surgery!!!! Till 2-3 days back it was dryness problem and suddenly she need to have enhanced surgery? On asking what is enhanced surgery… he replied, the same procedure again. Means whole one month after surgery recovery (though its advertised as just 10 minutes procedure) with a verbal guarantee of 100% correction this time as well (can also fail as earlier, as guarantee is just verbal). Anyway, she came back deciding she will not go for enhanced surgery. I believe no one will go through same treatment after experiencing its failure once. I asked doctor to refund the money paid as the treatment failed, doctor called us to meet him once. Took his prior appointment and went for the talk but oh my GOD.. doctor didn’t had the time to meet this time as well. Receptionist told us to wait 5-10 mins. We asked after 15 minutes, if doctor is available now.. Finally, doctor didn’t gave a single minute in 6 visits by me or by my wife (from Hinjewadi to Apte Road), inspite of the fact that out of 6 visits 2-3 times doctors was sitting in clinic, which makes clear that doctor was avoiding us.
Also, this doctor have an advocate sitting in his clinic who told us to do whatever we can. He also said, it doesnot matter if we get one more summon, as they also got another the same day I went to meet the doctor. This showed there are other people also who have sufferred the negligence of this doctor.
I request you to please look into the matter and do a justice with all the people cheated by Vision Next and save the people planning to get themself treated from him.

I believe doctors are yet not allowed to adverstise themselv in any forum. However this doctor has publiced himself in many forums.
