Dr.aniket Jain And Dr.deepak Naik — Faulty rerootcanal done, not owning responsibility

Address: Mumbai City, Maharashtra, 400059

I wish to bring to notice the negligence on the part of a very seasoned dr. deepak naik (reg no 1933) and dr. aniket jain (reg no: 15797), having their clinic at c1, mukund cooperative society, andheri kurla road, andheri east, mumbai.

On 19th october, 2016, i visited their clinic after experiencing pain in one of my lower jaw tooth. a few months back, i had got a re root canal done to one my lower jaw tooth at their clinic. it was one of their hired doctors, as they claim, who did the rerootcanal. for a few months things were fine, but then i started experiencing pain, though it wasn't recurring. while they did the rerootcanal both dr. deepak and dr. aniket had told me that there was an infection which required a rerootcanal.

Now, when i went on 19th october, 2016, dr. deepak did three x-rays and informed me that one of lower jaw tooth is showing a slight fracture. i was then told there were only two remedial measures - a - bridging or tooth implant. for either of the two to be done, i'd first have to go for tooth extraction. dr. aniket had explained to me in detail the process of both bridging and tooth implant, and also their costs (rs, 3500 per tooth and rs30k for plant). he had prescribed me few medicines which i ought to a day before deciding on tooth extraction.

I wasn't prepared to take an immediate decision, thus i asked for time. not purely convinced by dr. aniket, i thought of going for a second opinion. last week, the pain resurfaced, i consulted another doctor. there was a confusion with regards to the exact tooth which was troubling. so, she asked me to get a special x-ray cbct report to be done. it cost me rs2, 000 but i was told that at least, it would get a clear picture of where really the problem lied.

The other doctor told me that one of my tooth was showing a slight fracture, while the tooth below it, has an infection and would require a rerootcanal.

I strongly felt that the tooth below was the one which a hired doctor at dr. aniket's clinic had carried out. while, the bigger tooth adjacent to it had a slight fracture.

Now when i went there today, both dr. deepak and dr. aniket refused to accept that the rerootcanal was done at their clinic. dr. deepak is quite senior and i have great respect for him, but i was bitterly disappointed that he ignored me. he didn't even see my cbct report clearly. and so did dr. aniket, who seem adamant on confusing me and forcing his view down upon me.in their view, for the last three years, they don't do any silver/black filling.

Now, they could be right over there, but what i failed to understand is how they didn't seem keen on checking into their records the exact tooth which they carried out the rerootcanal. dr. aniket even had the audacity to tell me that we never said that one of the tooth had a fracture. well, when pointed out to him if so was the case, then why the hell did explain to me at length about bridging and tooth implant? why then did he prescribe me medicines which were to be only taken a day before i decide on tooth extraction? why did they take three x-rays when i'd visited them on 19th october? didn't they come to the fractured tooth conclusion based on the x-rays?

The very fact that he didn't own to his earlier diagnosis was proof enough that he wasn't keen to look into his records about the date of rerootcanal done at their clinic. well, if they hadn't done a faulty rerootcanal what was preventing him from checking the records. sure, if the silve/black filling isn;t done by them, then checking into their records would have told us the exact tooth which was treated by them?

I guess when i last visited them, they must have erased x-rays which were taken when the rerootcanal was done.

Shamelessly, dr. aniket told even told me that from hereon i will not come to his clinic. he sure did't repent his actions, but using such text, he wanted to ensure that i don't return again.

While i've always suspected him to be a crook, i was disappointed by the attitude of a senior doctor like dr. deepak. very smartly, he got aniket to argue with me, and i didn't realize that he had left.

Well, i don't see the two owning up to their responsibility, and even given their greed, i'm not confident of them compensating me, but with this complaint, i'm hoping others don't get trapped into their den. i sincerely appeal to all readers that think think twice before you go to dr. deepak naik and aniket jain's clinic. i've taken the title of dr. out from aniket, for he simply is not worth it. he's just a crook.
