Dr. Batras Clinic — Refund not provided for unused skin treatment package

I enrolled for a skin treatment package at Dr. Batra’s Clinic, located at 2nd Floor, No. 60/A/1, Raja Subodh Chandra Mallick Road, Bapuji Nagar, Jadavpur, Kolkata. I had paid ₹18, 000 for the package.

Due to personal reasons and circumstances, I could not continue the treatment, including further sessions and prescribed medicines. On 6th April 2025, I officially requested the clinic via email to process a refund for the unused portion of the package. Despite my request, no refund has been processed to date, and there has been no proper resolution.

This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, as the clinic is withholding money for services not availed.

I kindly request the consumer authority to direct Dr. Batra’s Clinic to:

1.Refund ₹18, 000 paid towards the unused treatment package.

2.Provide compensation for the inconvenience.
