Dr Jayant Chavan — Crazy Paediatrician in Bhandup

Dear All, I wish to draw your kind attention towards a Paediatrician Doctor in Bhandup, Mumbai. His name is Jayant Chavan, Chamber at Dream Mall. We went to show our Daughter for Severe Cough, Cold and Mild Fever. Please note chronology of events.. There were two patients and ours was third number. We finally got our turn after 90 minutes. And I saw both parents quite exhausted when they came out. When we entered ( with my wife ) - Note the way Doctor Enquired. -Asked me and my wife - were you related before Marriage ? I was little furious and asked why are you asking this question - of course because we are not related hence married. He gave a sily answer of Genetic issue check. -Was your daughter ever hospitalized ? -Does she have any major illness ! I was getting restless and said - we have come here to show for mild fever, cough and cold. He didnt ask a single time what has happened to her. Then he said lets examine her and - calls my wife to show the movement of glotis ( throat movement ) relating chest movement to my wife. I said thats normal. Every one has that. He didnt answer. Then he gave a big lecture on medicine and talked about kinetics and molecules. I found 90% of his sermons stupid and non consequential and irritating. We finally spent around 45 mins when I said - Thank you Doctor - 7 times to go off him. I had to finally pay 500 ruppess just to listen to his non sense. He asked to continue with medicine we are continuing ( Cetrizine Syrup ) and replaced Ibugesic with Calpol. With my Knowledge of Medical Doctors. I think either this man is either a mad or a fraud. He must be investigated and look onto. I advise Parents ot stay from this crazy man. My first experience was a horrible one. Mangal Tripathi
