My wife (Huma sufi) had acute pain in lower abdomen on 17th may, 2016 and after consulting dr nabanita ghosh (Post marriage nabanita javed) reg no 65420 (Gynecologist) she is diagnosed with appendicitis. Dr. Nabanita javed prescribed my wife some medicines for 6 days along with usg and other related tests. On 26th may 2016 my wife again suffered a major pain on her abdomen and suffered with the same for entire night. We consulted dr. Nabanita javed immediately and she advised us to admit her in a nursing home so that appendicitis could be removed along with cyst.
As a part of second opinion we consulted dr. M n haque (General surgeon) who after operation informed us that it was a case of ectopic pregnancy with no sign of appendicitis. As a result of ectopic pregnancy blood clot was formed all over the tube which dr. M n haque removed during surgery, since the fetus was two months old, and if that is not removed my wife may have a live threat.
My question is how come a renowned gynecologist like nabanita javed, could not diagnose the case even after everything was briefed to her by my wife and suggested to go for appendicitis operation and putting the life of my wife at risk. Hence we want to take strict action against dr nabanita javed (Reg no 65420) who have her clinic near circus avenue post office, kolkata - 17 treating this as a sheer negligence from her part and playing with the life of patients. Being a qualified gynecologist she should have detected ectopic pregnancy in the beginning only so that proper treatment could have been provided to my wife. My wife also had to take highly reactive medicines on the advice of dr. Nabanita javed, which have worsen the case.
