Dr Sanjana Dental — Reckless and negligent dental treatment

With a lot of pain and agony, I would like to bring one incident / gross negligence to your kind notice .On dated 09/08/2023, I had visited the dental clinic named Dr. Sanjana Dental Clinic, In front of Trends, GT Road, Srikakulam District, Srikakulam, with my mother who was having severe toothache in her premolar and molar teeth in both the sides. I didn't have any iota of idea about the dental clinic as I was new that place. At first one lady doctor made some preliminary examination and said that there is erosion of enamels and there are no cavities. Then another doctor came and checker my mother and said there are 6 teeth which are damaged and thus they require root canaling and crowning. They asked me to deposit Rs. 10000.00 instantly. Then he instructed one lady assistant to do something and it all started there. My mother was having a lot of pain while she started her treatment. It continued for about half an hour. Then with an assurance we came back and we were asked to come over the next day. That day another doctor came and said that as the case was bit comlicated, so he had to come to examine. He also tried his best and after about 45 minutes, he handed over the job to another lady who then took an attempt. Again that was terribly painful. It was so excruciatingly painful that my mother was crying and wincing. I was requesting them to stop further process and to let us get back home. But they again called one so called expert from a nearby dental college and he also started examining and then he also started the treatment. During his treatment we could see hell. She didn't have the energy left to take further pain. She wept finally and broke down. All other doctors were simply watching the entire scene. I lost my control and asked them to leave us then and there. But that day they had taken Rs. 32000/ for crowns. The same day in the evening I went there again to stop the treatment and refund after deducting their legitimate dues. However they didn't agree for that and asked us to do the treatment for one side which was more or less ok. I listened to them and after two days i along with my mother went there for crowing of 4 teeth in the right side. The doctor tried for sometime and said that the crown doesn't fit will and requested us to come the next day. The very next day we went again and he completed that process. They said that they would refund me Rs. 10000.00. So they got few papers signed by me where it was written tath the patient is non- cooperative. The fact is all 5 doctors failed to do the treatment and made my mother suffer a lot. I can never forget the days and moments. I really fail to understand why for such treatment 5 people are required. Every one was simply experimenting with my mother. No one was actually clear about the treatment. They were just beating about the bush and finally we came out of their clutch. After that I went to vizag, to see a doctor who is practicing in a clinic named This international dental clinic who did the entire process with out an iota of pain. It was so good and so impressive. The doctor was quite knowledgeable and was a really good hand. This mail I am writing to make you aware about the so called doctors who are practicing with out adequate expertise and knowledge. They should refer the matters to other good doctors if they cant handle the complicated cases. But they just keep on dragging so that their inflow of money doesn't stop.
