Sub: Negative Experience with Agarwal Packers & Movers (P) Ltd. Corporate office 3rd Floor, Kabret—Complex, 61-M G Road, SECUNDERABAD – 500003 Ref: Consignment no. 4147007 for movement of house hold goods from Mumbai to Dehradun. I wish to bring to your notice the following negative experiences during shifting of my house hold goods under CN 4147007. Negative experience 1. I was charged for a 24 feet container and was ultimately supplied with 20 feet container. 2. The aluminium channels of all three of my book cases were damaged by the packing crew at Mumbai for taking out the sliding glass doors. The lower channel was flattened with players and the glasses were pried out. ( photograph of the damaged channel attached). 3. In the above process (S.No.2), one glass was broken. The damage and involvement of the packers were acknowledged by the unpacking crew team leader Shri Pavan Kumar (Mobile no. [protected]). 4. A few of insured crockery and show pieces are broken during the shifting. 5. The wooden cot and TV shelf has been dismatled at Mumbai for transport, the Dehradun DRS office (Mr. Satbir- Mobile [protected]) has not yet send anyone to assemble it. 6. While packing, the packers fitted only one bolt for fixing the drum of my front loading IFB washing machine instead of the two bolts required though both the bolts were given to them. The single bolt bent and the drum came off its fitting badly damaging my washing machine. ( Supervisor at Mumbai Mr Dinesh. Manager : Mr Dinesh Pandey: Mobile : [protected]). ( photograph of the bent bolt attached). I would like to bring to your notice that item numbers at 2 and 6 occurred due to the gross negligence of your staff. Redressed Request 1. The excess charges levied for the 24 feet container against the actual supply of 20 feet container may please be refunded. I was informed initially while getting the quotation that the difference is about Rs.8000/- 2. The aluminium channels damaged by your crew may please be replaced. 3. The glass may please be replaced or compensated along with carpentry charges. 4. Settlement for the broken items may be expedited. 5. Dehradun Office may please be advised to assemble the furniture. 6. Compensation of Rs.7500/= towards the repair to my washing machine may be provided. I would like to mention that a large number of officers of NABARD, an All India Organisation and me have been relying on “Agarwal Packers & Movers” (DRS) for the last 30 years. I have used your services 5 times in the past and have not come across so many negative experiences till now. I earnestly hope that you will provide appropriate redressel.
