Dto Shillong — Pathetic service

Pathetic display of professionalism, inefficiency, punctuality by employees. Employees are rude and are engaged in their chatter, snack time etc for majority of the time of their open hours. They deal with a few people and send them back to come for their purposes the next day. If they are more interested in their leisure time why work at all. Civic sense and hygiene are also down the dumps. No form of social distancing or other protocols during Covid. Employees themselves do not wear masks properly and some dont even wear masks at all. Don't be surprised if a community outbreak emerges from DTO Shillong.
Name should be changed to PHO (Public Harassment Office). Do not expect your work to get done smoothly it would take thrice the expected time and effort.
I ran around 3 rooms for a week to get a simple learner's license. No proper instructions given, misguided all the time, all employees are incompetent and inefficient, make the public wait for days while the enjoy tea breaks and have kitty parties themselves. The transport officer R. Hinge extremely rude and inconsiderate of the public waiting for days . What work does he do I wonder making people wait for days for small signatures .
