Updated by Revealing the truth I recently purchased the Educart Final Revision Book for Class 10 from their official website after facing issues with a fake copy on Amazon. However, the book I received from their website is also different from what was advertised and promoted.
Here are the major concerns:
1. Misleading Features and Missing Content:
The mind maps, as shown in promotional materials and through advertisements, are entirely different or missing in the received book.
The index layout does not match what was advertised and makes it harder to study and navigate through the book.
The OMR sheets, which were prominently promised as part of the physical book, are only accessible digitally, which was not disclosed earlier.
2. Page Count Discrepancy:
The advertised version had 528 pages, but the book I received has only 514 pages. This discrepancy has been vaguely justified as a "refined structure, " but it gives the impression of a second-class version.
3. Inconsistent Editorial Changes:
Educart stated in their email that the editorial team has changed and this updated version reflects those changes. However, Prem Sharma, the author and original editor of the book, continues to promote the previous version through his YouTube channel.
As a customer, I came to know about this book through Prem Sharma's YouTube channel. It is highly misleading that the content and features he promotes in the older version are not reflected in the book I received.
Educart must address this publicly on Prem Sharma’s channel to clarify these inconsistencies. Otherwise, it feels as though students like me have been provided with an inferior product.
4. Poor Communication and Support:
Despite multiple attempts to contact Educart, the responses have been vague, and the explanations provided do not adequately address the issues.
I demand immediate action to resolve this issue:
1. Educart must ensure that Prem Sharma, the author who advertises their product, publicly informs students about these changes and discrepancies on his YouTube channel.
2. Educart must either provide the advertised book with all the promised features or issue a full refund for this misleading product.
This level of confusion and false advertising during crucial board exam preparation is unacceptable. Please take immediate action.
Thank you.
