I have been getting calls from volunteers of few NGOs offlate asking donations for some emergency cases. Ek Parivartan foundation is on top of this list and sounds very fishy. They store all data of last conversation and starts emotionally black mailing you for making donations. I find this quite weird and not sure if these are frauds. I have made donation to this organisation in past, have started getting more calls post that. This should be thoroughly investigated.

I too got a call from a student volunteer for contribution today ie 23rd November 2022. (I’m not disclosing her name) She was very polite and concerned. I have been supporting several NGOs from time to time. I desired to see their website. There is hardly any information about the founders credentials, major contributors, balance sheet, income tax returns etc. They don’t even have a landline phone number.
When I was conveying this to her, I guess her superior, who identified himself as Mr Kabir, forcefully took over .
He was not willing to listen anything. His tone & tenor was threatening, as if I owe them something. He called me all kinds of name. He was not willing to hear anything from me.
Finally, I told him that he was not fit to be a person to work for NGO, He had no patience, compassion, concern for the needy.
