Eklavya Education Foundation — Misbehaviour and mental harassment to my child master shivam natani class 8 Beta Eklavya School Sanand

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice the extreme mental harassment by a school to my child. My child Shivam Natani Age 13 year old studies in Eklavya school, Ahmedabad (affiliated to CISCE Board) He is studying in this school for past 10 years and presently he is in standard 8 Beta. This year, his class teacher(Bhumik sir) had been continuously harassing him for past many days. When his threatening and harassment reached extremes then we couldn’t tolerate and wrote a letter to school authorities. Next day that teacher resigned from the school for unknown reason. Right from very next day started mental harassment of my child. He was pulled from his school basketball team although he was the best player of team. Many false complaints were fabricated about him and finally we were called to school and were told that our child is being suspended to attend the school for two weeks. We were shocked to hear it. School gave us no letter of intimation and nothing was given to us in written stating why he was being suspended. We were forcefully asked to sign the letter stating that we accept this suspension. We were not left with any choice but to sign it. The very next day we were called again and this time we were asked to withdraw our child as soon as possible. we were shocked to hear it . Half term of this session is over and where will we get the admission? Our child’s future was jeopardized. Again they never gave us anything in written neither the reason as to why our child is being expelled. As per my knowledge no school can expel the child until he completes his elementary education which is his right. But the school was not ready to hear us . We wrote them two emails also narrating and requesting them not to take such an action but it fell on deaf years. Again the next day we received a call from school and they asked us to give an application that we want to withdraw our child which was not at all true. We denied writing any such letter. Seeing present situation, we are feeling so helpless by school’s such dictatorship. School has mentally harassed us with all this and we are scared that our child will not get admission anywhere in midterm. Our child’s whole year and possible his future is being jeopardized. We request you to look into the entire incident, call upon the school authorities as to on what grounds they can expel a student without giving any reason or explanation in writing. The child is still in elementary education and according to “Right to education act” a child can’t be expelled from a school. The behavior of school is absolutely illegal in this manner.
