This company has contacted me with an offer to help me apply for jobs abroad. For this assistance they took a fee of Rs 4150 and provided me with a bill also. After my initial payment an executive from their office contacted me and had an elaborate conversation regarding countries and universities (as I am looking for a university centered job) of my preference and so on and so forth. The gist was about preparing a CV and submitting and applying to various institutions. Towards the end of this conversation he said I have to make an additional payment of Rs 5000 plus in order to avail the service. Then I wondered what was the first payment for.Before I received any service whatsoever for my initial payment in a matter of a couple of hours I was getting another call to make payment to get full service . I felt this was wrong and asked the person to provide me with the recruitment assistance as was promised initially for the amount I already paid. However since then till now I haven't received a single call from anyone in the company and I understand that the money I paid for has gone in vain.
I realise this is cheating systematically. I was given no clue that there are subsequent payments to be made and instead the executive I talked to pretended as if this was fee for the whole service. Since this involved only identifying vacancies and submitting applications, I also didn't doubt. Was this information helpful? |
