This is about a horrible experience which I had in Aundh branch gym.
On Monday, 5th Feb 2024, I had visited the Aundh branch of Endure Fitness Club.
The owner ( he said his name is Deepak Rao ) asked me to join the 3 months membership for Rs. 5, 500.
I had clearly said that I wish to try first as I have not done any gym earlier.
But I was made to pay 5, 500 and after that I had my first session with the trainer there.
After the session, I have been facing health issues till today i.e. 8th Feb 2024.
I am unable to get up from my bed and even at night I have shooting pains in my legs.
This is not normal soreness which comes after working out.
I was unable to go to work due to this extreme condition.
I called on [protected] and [protected] today and told them to refund my amount but they said they are not going to do it.
The club manager who works there said that if I had asked for a trial session then she would've given it to me for Rs. 300.
But, my question is, how would I know about the trial session of Rs. 300 when that information was not shared with me in the first place ?
Isn't it the gym manager / club manager's responsibility to not with-hold any information and share all this in the first place ?
Also, Mr. Deepak Rao ( that is the name he told ) was extremely rude and said that my body lacks immunity that is why I fell ill.
Who is he to talk like that ? Is he a doctor ? He openly said that gym owners are doctor equivalents.
It was only after visiting this gym that I had this health issue, not before.
First of all, I didn't expect this unethical behavior from a brand like Endure. I request for a refund of my full amount now. If needed, 300 rupees for the trial session can be deducted.
