Enigma Fitness — Customers being dumped and troubled

Hi,

I am writing to lodge an official complaint against enigma fitness center (Second floor, plot no.-7, central market, dwarka, new delhi, 110075).

I joined this gym in the beginning of april, this year. The first time i visited the place, i was lured into the different facilities and equipment they have, which was convincing enough for me to opt for a 3-month membership to begin with, which i paid rs. 9000 for. A week after i joined the gym, i opted for a personal trainer (The cost of which was rs. 18, 000/month). The overall services of the gym are truly pathetic. Here are some issues that i and several others faced, but i am the one who chose to escalate my concerns:

1. After the first couple of weeks, i decided that i wanted to avail their spa services and was told that it’s not functional
2.In the past couple of months, every 3-4 days in a week the air conditioners are not working. The reasons are evidently lame, starting from ‘technical fault’ to ‘no electricity’. It’s funny when the reason cited is ‘no electricity’ because when you go on the second floor to use the washroom, surprisingly the ac is working.
3. Treadmills not working

Several people have highlighted these concerns many times to people sitting at the reception but their response and approach is the same every single time, which is, either turn a deaf ear to what the customers are saying or say it’s a technical fault.
I spoke to quite a few people today and heard that they are fed up with the services being offered and want their money back. It’s no hidden secret to everyone that all that enigma fitness is trying to do is, cut and save costs. I wonder how different is this gym from those that charge a paltry fee of 500/- but atleast are honest about their services even if that means, no air conditioners.

It’s our hard earned money and we don’t earn it to squander it away on false promises and bad services. I sincerely request your intervention to look into this and provide a resolution at the earliest.

If need be, i will also write into the labor ministry and make sure these people don’t dupe their customers and provide us the services they charge us for.
