My ward attended the school for 1 whole academic session 2022-23. Then we were asked to pay the advance fee for the next academic session in march, 23 itself, before even the running session is over.
So, on March 15 we paid the fee of april 23 till september 23, in advance. April 3 the new session starts and around April 15, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we decide to relocate to another state due to switching job. Same time we inform the school and ask for a refund and TC considering April 30 as the last day of school my ward would attend. We keep communicating through mails and application, but no response is given. Then on calling we get to talk to accounts with no satisfactory response. Then repeatedly we had to call and even once paid a visit, no response or meeting happened. We were eventually assured just that our mails would be reverted.
Then we were told that we don't refund fees even if the child attends the school for a singke day. But as far as we know, the tuition fee is meant to be applicable on pro rata basis.
The most disturbing was we weren't even given appointment to meet the authority who can listen to our situation and give us a satisfactory response.
It's a plain loot. Educational institutes can't be like this. We are asking for what we paid. And the grounds are fair too.
We are planning to take it further.
We don't even want to mention here what kind of education standards and other management standards do they maintain as it would seem as we are driven with malice.
Keeping that totally a separate issue to discuss and mention, we are determined to take this matter further as this is a totally dictatorship mentality where they don't even let you voice your issues.
At the end, they are here for and because of students. Turning a blind eye towards issues is not humanitarian. Was this information helpful? |
