Extremely Poor Experience with Fast Track Logistics Packers and Movers – Noida to Jalandhar | ★☆☆☆☆
I recently shifted my household belongings from Noida to Jalandhar, Punjab through Fast Track Logistics Packers and Movers. Their addresses include Plot No. 136, Main Road, Village Bijwasan, New Delhi – 110061, and their stated Head Office at 40 Feet, New Palam Vihar, Sector 110, Gurugram – 122017.
At the time of booking, their representative personally visited my home and clearly told me that the final bill would be around ₹24, 000 plus little GST taxes. Based on this representation, I agreed to use their services.
However, we were later presented with a bill of ₹41, 370, which was a huge and unexpected increase from the amount initially quoted. When I questioned the additional charges and said that I would not make the disputed payment, the situation became extremely stressful.
Insurance issue
Another serious concern arose during the journey. In the middle of the transportation process, I was pressured to purchase insurance for all of our goods and was charged an additional amount for it.
I was told that insurance was being arranged for the goods, but the insurance documentation provided to me did not give me confidence that this was an independent insurance arrangement. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about the authenticity and independence of the insurance arrangement and whether the amount charged to me actually represented genuine third-party insurance.
The truck carrying our household belongings was stopped in Ambala while travelling to Jalandhar. We were told that unless we made the full payment, our goods would not be allowed to proceed to the destination. We were also told that if the truck remained stopped, they would start charging additional hourly charges.
Another concern is that the quotation slip contains a condition at the bottom stating that the full payment is to be made at the departure of the truck from the original location. Customers should read every condition on the quotation carefully and get all payment terms clearly explained before agreeing to the service.
The packing quality was extremely poor. The packing photographs shown to us or shared in our WhatsApp group were completely different from the actual packing done for our belongings. The actual packing did not match what had been represented to us before the shifting.
The truck provided was too small for the quantity of goods, resulting in the vehicle being overloaded. The goods were not handled and shifted properly, and some of our belongings were damaged/broken during transportation.
We also had difficulty getting assistance when we tried to contact their customer-care number. One of the numbers provided as a customer-care/contact number also appeared to be the same number belonging to the representative who had personally visited my home and provided the initial estimate.
Another concern: Head Office address
I also found the stated Head Office address—“40 Feet, New Palam Vihar, Sector 110, Gurugram – 122017”—to be insufficiently specific. There is no shop number, office number, building number, or other clearly identifiable premises information mentioned in the address provided to us. This made it difficult for me to understand exactly where their head office is located.
At the same time, their website displays highly positive customer reviews and 5+ ratings about the company. Since there does not appear to be a visible mechanism for independent customers to post reviews, I personally found these reviews and ratings difficult to independently verify.
Major concerns from my experience:
- Initial estimate of approximately ₹24, 000 + Littlebit GST taxes, followed by a bill of ₹41, 370.
- Pressure to make the full payment before the goods reached the destination.
- Truck stopped in Ambala when I disputed the additional charges.
- We were told that the goods would not reach Jalandhar unless the full payment was made.
- Threat of additional hourly charges while the truck remained stopped.
- Payment condition printed at the bottom of the quotation slip requiring full payment at departure.
- Poor and inadequate packing, different from the photographs shared with us.
- Undersized and overloaded truck.
- Damage/breakage of household belongings.
- Difficulty getting a response from customer-care/contact numbers.
- Insufficiently detailed head-office address, which raised concerns for me as a customer.
Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend that people avoid using Fast Track Logistics Packers and Movers. Please verify their office address, get a detailed written quotation, confirm all additional charges and payment conditions, and clearly establish their responsibility for damaged goods before handing over your belongings.
I am sharing this review so that other customers can make an informed decision and avoid facing the kind of problems and stress that we experienced.
Overall experience: Extremely poor and disappointing.
