I am writing to formally escalate a serious issue regarding the refund of my cancelled order #OD[protected]OPPO K14 Plus 5G). The order and its associated device exchange were cancelled on October 10, 2026.
The payment was made instantly via UPI. However, your customer support team has refused to process my refund, stating that the third-party seller has not returned the funds to Flipkart.
Please note that this reason is entirely unacceptable and constitutes a clear violation of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules. As a consumer, my financial transaction and purchase contract were made directly with Flipkart (the marketplace platform). Any internal financial settlement, dispute, or delay between Flipkart and its registered seller is strictly your internal matter. Flipkart cannot legally withhold a consumer's money over internal vendor disputes.
Since the standard turnaround time for a UPI refund has passed, I request you to intervene immediately and credit the full amount back to my original bank account.
If the refund is not initiated within the next 24 hours, I will proceed with the following legal measures without further notice:
File a formal complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
Lodge a grievance via the e-Daakhil portal for deficiency of services and unfair trade practices.
Report the transaction status to my bank's UPI dispute department for holding funds illegally. Was this information helpful? |
