There was an olx ad, selling activa in pallavaram. We contacted the seller as we were interested. The person said that he is form indian army and can send the bike only through courier. He insisted that we pay rs. 5150 now. Since we hesitated to pay without doing a test drive, he said he will return the advance amount if we don't like the bike. He kept calling several times and asked us to initiate the transaction saying that he is an army person and the bike parcel is ready to go. He was urging us saying that we need to trust him since he's from army. He asked our aadhar and passport size photo. The money is debited yesterday and now we realized that this is fraud. We are not only worried about the money but the fact that he might use our aadhar details for his fraud activities.
