I booked my refill (14.2 Kg) indane gas cylinder and paid for preferred delivery of the cylinder. The time for delivery was mentioned 8 AM-6 PM. I called the agency at 5:58 PM to know about the status. The attendee (he) asked me that there is no use of calling now as we close at 6PM. When I responded (politely), the online booking website says 8 AM - 6 PM, so I waited until the time. He responded that the time displayed there is incorrect, they close at 6 PM. I have following points:
1. What is the use of paying extra when the cylinder is not delivered?
2. Consumer, in practice, waits for the time displayed. How are they supposed to know that they have to call to make sure about the delivery?
Complaint does not only include loss of preferred delivery fee (Rs. 25), it also includes the additional cost of buying the meal, the time and peace and juggling with the agency person. Even though if the delivery is made in the morning, next day, issue remains unresolved.
Hoping for action so consumer have a clear knowledge of the selection in the choice of delivery offered by the indane/agency.
Thank you. (order id - [protected]) Was this information helpful? |
