I have also booked a flat at gauri excellency in 2016 and was promised to get the possession by December 2019. I had also made 50% payment at the time of booking. I made timely payment of all the other installments as well. Only the last one is said to be given at the time of possession.

Now builder is asking buyers to extend possession date to Dec 30, 2013. As per RERA builder is liable to pay interest @24% (as mentioned in agreement) or 10.75% whichever is higher in case of delay in possession.
Builder is now saying that it will give possession in Jun 2023, since they are constructing additional 16 floors. Builder has started project in 2013 and constructed till date 26 floors in 9 years considering this it would not be possible for builder to construct 16 floors in 6 months. So possession would be much delayed. Sign extension letter only if builder agrees to pay interest @ 24% for delayed possession.

Hello. My father-in-law has purchased a house in Gauri Excellency in 2017 as well. And we too have been trying to understand why the delay in the possession of the flats. It has caused a lot of problems for us as well due to the uncertainty of what is happening with the house. I myself is a flat owner of the project. I too got a call for consent. I gave my consent to them without asking anything. I know they will deliver the project. Lots of technical things were also involved in the project because of which the approval got late and so on. It's been years we are waiting for the delivery of the flat, at this point of time if we don't support then project will stall and they can't do any work because they need 51% consent. So it's better to give consent other then getting the project stalled. It should be a win-win situation for both o[censored]s. It's just waiting our time and money in any legal situation.

Looking at status of building it is unlikely that building can be completed before Mar 24, lift/ colors/ plastering nothing is done. On top of this they want to build additional 16 floors. They claim that they will build in six months however, their past records is in nine years they had build 26 floors, so it is unlikely that they will complete in six months, Builder is just fooling us. Presently he is saying possession in Jun 23 but in June 23 he will say Dec 23 and so on. In past also he promised possession in Dec 19 then Dec 20 then Dec 21 then Jun 22 and then Dec 22.

I completely agree with you. I have booked a flat in Gauri excellency in 2017 that time they promised possession in Dec 2020 in which they failed. I think we should make 1 WhatsApp grp and let's all fix meeting with the builder
