German Remedies — Storage directions

I have come across your product labels with “storage directions” that are ambiguous to anyone who reads it. i.e
Xylomist-P ®, Nasal drops, German Remedies. “Store in well-closed, light-resistant container”.

To the consumers, these labels imply that the bottle/container containing the medication should be stored in another container that is light resistant and tightly sealed. Although common sense prevails over these erroneous directions, should they not be changed to something more sensible such as “keep tightly closed” or “protect from light”?

The storage directions “store in a well closed, light resistant container is primarily aimed at the pharmacist, when the product is to be manufactured or re-packed. Nevertheless, we irrationally give storage directions. It is high time to change this.
