I'm a former student of Global College of Technology (GCT), in the department of Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering,[protected] Batch. I graduated this year (2016). I visited the College on 03.11.2016 to fetch my refundable Caution Money. I have received a sum of Rs.5900/- (ICICI Cheque, Cheque No. : 301139), after deduction of Rs.1600/-, which was a surprise to me. No communication regarding the deduction of Rs.1600/- was done from the college authority in the past and no satisfactory answer was given to me at the time of reception of the Caution Money. They were unable to provide any reason or show any documentary evident. I think it is very much illegal.

I have contacted Bhavna Mathur (Head, Associate Professor, Department of ME, Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur). She told me that many students are facing the same problem and she had already talked to director regarding that. They haven't come up to any solution pertaining to the fact that they don't have any proper data of the students who have submitted fees of exams like AMCAT, CoCubes, etc. (though I'm certain that I have submitted all the examination fees and have no dues left). She told me that the management will discuss about the issue and asked to leave an application.

I even left an email to their official email id, i.e. [protected]@gctjaipur.com,
[protected]@gitjaipur.com but they haven't responded to my mail. They are very much irresponsible.

Its been a month since the distribution of caution money but the money deducted is not refunded. I don't know what are their intentions in delaying the matter but its kinda annoying visiting the college again and again and asking them for the same (They don't give satisfactory response on the calls).

In view of the above fact, I would like to request you, kindly enquire the total matter (i.e. deduction of Rs.1600/- in my case) and send me a satisfactory feedback at your earliest about the actions you are going to take.
