We travelled from Delhi on 19th December’2021 and reached Mumbai by 1.00 am on 20th December 2021. On arrival in Mumbai domestic airport one of our checked in bags did not reach on the belt.
We immediately complained to the Go First baggage claim counter at Mumbai Domestic Terminal, became restless and approached CISF to call him, we observed very unprofessional behavior from a Go air employee ( Farhad Kerawala), the person did not tell us about Property Irregularity report and took our boarding pass and left, after waiting 2 hours, we f and approached CISF to call him, We observed he lost our boarding pass which he took from us, luckily we took photograph of the same.
We learnt from internet that we need to file PIR, while we asked him, that person again left, we called police, then he filed PIR. we left airport.
We kept on pursuing the case . on 22nd Dec 2021, evening, we saw cctv footage of that day and discovered that our lost bag never reached the belt, seems that never reached Mumbai.
My bag had property papers, expensive branded clothes, shoes and some cash. the suitcase was big size Samsonite suitcase, itself is expensive one. Total cost of lost items are totaling to more than 50k.
This is unprofessional behavior and negligence from Go air. How we can travel peacefully by Air, if airlines behave in this way.
Please guide how to go ahead.
Regards,
S. Sarkar
