This company, located at Highland Park, Marol Maroshi, Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400059, has committed fraud against me, engaged in deceptive advertising, and blatantly violated consumer rights. Details of the Complaint:
1. Policy Purchase and Promotional Fraud:
I purchased GoWarranty's service after watching promotional videos on the YouTube channels of Vineet Malhotra and Udrawat. These videos portrayed the company as reliable and providing excellent service, which proved to be completely false and misleading.

2. Problem and Service Delay:
On August 22, 2025, I filed a service request (SR002661) because the main fan motor of the cooler was not working.

The company stated on August 13, 2025, that the repair would be completed within 3 days, but more than a month has passed without any resolution. Every time, the complaint was brushed off with the excuse, "The part is being arranged."

This delay, especially during the peak summer season in my area, Jhunjhunu, where temperatures are very high, and with a small child at home, has caused us severe inconvenience and health risks.

3. Rudeness and Harassment by Staff:
Dinesh, a company representative, spoke to me rudely and insultingly on the phone. Instead of helping, he intimidated me and refused assistance.

Sameer Shaikh (CEO) called me a "scammer" in an email, threatened defamation, and claimed my complaint was due to a pre-existing problem, even though the service engineer himself confirmed the problem was new.

When I demanded the removal of the YouTubers' testimonials from the company's website, they threatened me with legal action.

4. Unjustified Closure of Complaint:
On September 23, 2025, my complaint was closed without any resolution or justification. Call recordings reveal that an employee named Shifa stated this was done because of my Google review.

This is a clear act of retaliation, violating consumer rights and demonstrating the company's unethical practices.

5. Fraud and Deceptive Advertising:
The company misused the names of YouTubers to attract customers but failed to provide the promised service. Vineet Malhotra himself stated in an email that many customers have complained and that the company has become unprofessional.

This violates Section 447 (Fraud) of the Companies Act and Section 2(28) (Misleading Advertisement) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The company faces several prior complaints, warranting an investigation by the SFIO (Serious Fraud Investigation Office).

6. Pattern of Fraudulent Behavior with Other Customers:
Many other customers, like me, are being cheated by this company. A simple internet search reveals hundreds of negative reviews and complaints accusing the company of service denial, claim rejection, rude behavior, and fraud.

For instance, dozens of complaints on consumercomplaints.in accuse the company of being a fraud and rejecting warranty claims.

Similarly, a thread on Reddit discusses GoWarranty's service failures and legal action.

Reviews on Justdial and Mouthshut.com label the company as a fraud, with customers claiming they did not receive service after purchasing the warranty.

Quora reviews also describe the company as a trap and a fraud.

Furthermore, several users on X (Twitter) have posted that GoWarranty is a scam, does not provide service, and vanishes after taking money.

These numerous reviews confirm a systematic pattern of fraud.

Request to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA):
I urgently request the MCA to:

Investigate the company and impose penalties for fraud, deceptive advertising, and consumer harassment.

Reopen my complaint and ensure a resolution, along with granting me compensation.

Initiate an SFIO investigation against the company's promoters and officials.
