Sub: Refund of the token amount taken for Godrej Horizon Dadar Wadala
We undersigned Mr. Sanjay and Mrs. Sangeeta Sane went to the Godrej Horizon Dadar Wadala project on 21/11/2022 where the sales team manager Mr. Nihal Menon showed the project.
The sales team made us confused and hurried to take the decision. They rushed us to make the payment on the same day by using a credit card without giving us any financial guidance or letting us take any financial advice. We paid a token of Rs. 14, 26, 614/- against flat no. GHORIA2501, as they told us that this is the last flat to remaining in the sales team's hands.
After taking financial advice from Godrej's representative we came to know that we are not getting that much amount of a loan from Godrej Housing finance. And due to the sudden arise of Mrs. Sangeeta’s Sane health issues, and personal financial problems, we could not manage the fund which is required for this flat. We saw all the possibilities to manage the fund. But it is not possible to go further. Hence we have decided to cancel the booking in the next week i.e. on 27/11/2022. We both visited your Dadar Wadala project on 27/11/2022 to cancel the deal but the sales team Mr. Nihal Menon and Ms. Urvi Porwal again confused us and advised us to re-think the deal but we were not convinced we again went to the site office on 05/12/2022 with the application for cancellation.
We waited in your office for almost half a day but no one was ready to take the application for cancellation. Again, we went on 23/12/2022, and after some waiting period we meet Mr. Nihal. We requested him and Ms. Urvi Porwal, our relationship manager, and at that time they accepted our cancellation and requested for refund letter. They told us that we will forward it further. Simultaneously we e-mail both of them the request for a refund, and after that, they stopped responding to our phone calls. Therefore, we personally visited your site office 3 times, but no one meet us on site. Frequently we are making calls and WhatsApp them but they are not replying to us.
Again, we visited on 11/01/2023, that time Sales team Mr. Nihal Menon, and Ms. Urvi Porwal are saying that it is not in their hand. Mr. Nihal Menon told us you may go to the Head office, Godrej properties, or you can take the lawyer's advice. Therefore, on 12/11/2023 we approached your head office at 4th floor, Godrej bhavan, home street, fort, Mumbai 400 001 but your representative said that the Customer Care office was closed down for five years. Again, we visited the site on 13/01/2023, At that time Mr. Nihal Menon said that go to the RERA office at BKC. Hence, we visited the RERA office, E Block, 7th floor, Housefin Bhawan, BKC but the Personal Assistant of Hon. Judge says that this is not a RERA case, you may go to the site office only. Mr. Nihal miss guided us, therefore we made a complaint against both Mr. Nihal Menon and Ms. Urvi Porwal at your customer care site on 13/01/2023.
On 17/01/2023, we dialled Godrej Properties' customer care number, and they have taken our complaint. And immediately contacted Ms. Nancy Fernandes from your customer care, and she helped us and guided us properly. She fixed our meeting with Ms. Nikhita Mujumdar at Godrej Dadar Wadala site on 18/01/2023 and we submitted her our application for refund and medical reports for further processing. After demanding more documents again submitted required documents on 16/02/2023.
Therefore, now we requested you personally, kindly look into this matter urgently and please refund us the total amount of Rs. 14, 26, 614/- (Fourteen Lakh Twenty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Fourteen only)
