With reference to the above booking, Saudia Airlines has cancelled my return flight (FCO–HYD via Jeddah) scheduled for 24 May and has rebooked me without consent to a flight on 01 June (a delay of one full week).
I am travelling alone and hold an Indian passport; this last-minute disruption has created a serious safety, logistical, and financial impact that requires immediate action.
I have contacted Saudia Airlines, and I was instructed to coordinate through the online travel agent (OTA), Goibibo. However, despite repeated follow-ups, Goibibo has not provided any action, update, or callback to resolve this matter.
I require one of the following resolutions immediately:
1) Rebook me on the 25 May return option (or the earliest available comparable flight) and confirm HOTAC (hotel accommodation + transfers) for any enforced layover/disruption, coordinated directly with Saudia Airlines.
2) Process a full refund immediately so that I can rebook on an alternate airline. Please note that fares are increasing daily, and any delay is causing additional financial loss.
To date, I have received no concrete resolution—no confirmed rebooking, no refund timeline, and no responsible point of contact. 1st June is just not acceptable!!!
This is an unacceptable standard of customer care. As the airline and the OTA involved in issuing and servicing this itinerary, Saudia Airlines and Goibibo are jointly responsible for providing a workable travel solution and ensuring passenger safety and assistance during involuntary schedule changes. I have job to report back in India.
Please respond within 24 hours of receiving this message with confirmed action on one of the two options above. If I do not receive a timely resolution, I will be compelled to escalate this through the appropriate consumer grievance channels.
