Golden Packers and Movers Pvt. Ltd. initially visited my residence to assess the items for transportation. Following this, they insisted on an 80% advance payment before commencing the move. Once I made the payment, numerous issues arose. They improperly shared my contact information with unrelated parties and delegated the job to local laborers who were unaware that Golden Packers and Movers were responsible for the task. Consequently, not all of my intended items were picked up.
Despite this, I agreed to let them proceed with the items they had taken, hoping for a swift delivery. Unfortunately, the problems persisted as my contact details were shared with additional individuals, leading to unsolicited calls asking for personal information. Laborers even contacted me seeking tips.
The individual who received the payment stopped responding to calls and queries. Initially, a promise was made for a Saturday (20.01. 24)delivery, which was missed, and as on date 21.01.24, I have yet to receive the consignment note. After the packing was done, they demanded extra payments for AC removal and insurance, costs that were not disclosed upfront.
The overall experience has been dreadful, and I strongly believe Golden Packers and Movers should reconsider their profession. The business model, which involves obtaining 80% payment upfront, leaves customers at their mercy, as they seemingly disregard the successful delivery of items once the initial payment is made.
