I subscribed to an annual membership for gold's gym on 08th Feb, 2020. it was just 1 month after which the gym was closed due to Covid Pandemic as per govt guidelines. We were told that we will get extension of the duration till the gym remains closed.
The gym in Pune resumed on 26th October, 2020 i.e after 9 months. The message we got from the gym said that we wont be getting any extension for these 9 months and that all the amount goes wasted. That leaves me only with 2 more months of the service.
Now this leads to inference that i get 3 month service against the fees paid for 12 months. So in a way, service of 1/4th of what i paid. Also, bringing to your notice that its not a small amount but whole big sum of Rs. 14000/-.
None of this happened due to my mistake and i dont see any reason for me bearing all the loss. And i could have let go if it was for some duration, but this is totally unfair if i just got service of 1 mnth yet.
