I made a payment of Rs. 49K using Google pay on 20th June. The amount got debited from my account with SBI immediately.I came to know that the beneficiary account linked to the Gpay id doesn't exist as they has closed it. I was expecting a refund within 3 days but it didn't happen. I lodged complaint with the Bank and Google Pay. Gpay said it's not in their control hence I need to contact the banks only.
In my Bank system it shows that it is credited to some Axis Bank account, IFSC Code given there never existed (UTIB0000000) and transaction amount shown is ZERO. Then where this money has gone? Bank is helpless.
Please check and do the needful.
