Grama Panchayat Kalyanpur — house tax details /breakdown

Kindly be informed that a simple issue of tax on my rented house is still not been resolved since four years in-spite of my regular visits to the kalyanpura grama panchayat. My inquiry to them is why the tax is rs. 2816.00 for a 10'x50'feet concrete roof house with a rs.1300 rent per month. Instead giving me this calculation/ breakup they simply give various reasons and excuses and this continued for four years. Further advised not to pay until re-survey of all the houses program which did not take place at all. However i could not remain without paying my dues to govt. So i settled all, at the rate of 2816 amounting to rs.8448.00. Please look in to the matter and advise at the earliest.
