I am writing to file a formal complaint against Great Learning regarding the lack of response to my request for a refund for the Data Science course I enrolled in. Due to a life-threatening medical condition, I have been unable to continue my studies, and despite providing all the necessary medical documents, my refund request has gone unanswered.
I enrolled in the Data Science course at Great Learning with full enthusiasm and commitment to completing the program. However, in the middle of my studies, I was diagnosed with brain clots, a severe and life-threatening condition that required immediate medical intervention and care. This situation left me in a state of emergency, and as a result, I was unable to continue my participation in the course.
In light of these circumstances, I promptly submitted my refund request to Great Learning, accompanied by all relevant medical documentation, including doctor’s notes and hospital records. I clearly explained the gravity of my situation, and yet, I have not received any acknowledgment or response from the institution.
Despite my repeated attempts to reach out, I have been met with silence. This lack of communication and refusal to address my request for a refund is not only deeply frustrating but also extremely disappointing. As a consumer, I feel completely disregarded, especially at a time when I am dealing with a serious health crisis.
I would like to request that this complaint be escalated and that my case be reviewed urgently. I expect a fair resolution, which should include a refund of the fees paid for the course given my medical emergency. The failure of Great Learning to respond to my legitimate request and to provide any assistance during this difficult time reflects a lack of compassion and consumer care.
As per consumer protection laws in India, I am entitled to a refund under such circumstances, and I request that you take immediate action to rectify this issue. I hope this matter will be resolved swiftly and that my experience can serve as a reminder to educational institutions about the importance of consumer rights and empathy in times of personal hardship.
