I am writing to bring to your urgent attention an illegal construction activity in Green Fields Homes Society Zirakpur. The builders are constructing in a designated non-construction area, which is strictly prohibited.
Initially, their manager claimed they were changing the community centre space. However, they now admit it is a Paying Guest (PG) accommodation being built—not a community centre. This site falls within 100 meters of the airport, making PG construction highly irregular and unsafe. No society or regulatory body can approve such a structure inside a residential society.
There is no provision for this in the approved layout plan. This is a clear violation of building norms, zoning laws, and aviation safety regulations. I request your immediate intervention to investigate, halt the construction, and take strict action against the builders.
