I am posting this complaint to report a serious deficiency in service at Hair Buzz, Sector 19, Chandigarh, where I visited on 4 January 2026 for a haircut.
Before the service began, I clearly and repeatedly instructed the staff member that I wanted only a minimal trim and that my hair length should be preserved. Despite these explicit instructions, a large amount of my hair was cut off, far beyond what was discussed or consented to.
This was not a communication issue. My instructions were given multiple times, yet they were ignored. The haircut was carried out carelessly and without regard for customer consent, resulting in significant and irreversible loss of hair length.
When I raised my concern immediately, the response from the salon was unprofessional and dismissive. No responsibility was taken, and no reasonable resolution was offered. This added to the emotional distress caused by the incident.
Hair is an important aspect of personal identity and confidence. This experience reflects a lack of professionalism, negligence, and disregard for client instructions, which clearly amounts to deficiency in service.
I am sharing this complaint so that:
The salon is held accountable for negligent service
Other customers are warned and can make informed decisions
