Haridwar Nagar Nigam — No Sewer/ Drainage system in my Colony

This is to bring your attention to a matter of grave concern that has been affecting the residents of Madhu Vihar Colony Jamalpur Kalan, Haridwar, for the past decade. Despite numerous appeals and complaints, it is disheartening to note that we continue to endure the absence of a proper sewer and drainage system in our area.

For the past ten years, our community has faced severe consequences due to the lack of a functional sewer system. The stagnant water and overflowing drains not only pose a serious health hazard but also result in the breeding of mosquitoes and other disease-carrying vectors. Additionally, the foul odor emanating from these stagnant waters has become unbearable, making living conditions extremely unpleasant.

We, the residents of Madhi Vihar colony, have been patient and understanding, hoping for a resolution to this persistent issue. However, our pleas seem to have fallen on deaf ears, and the situation remains unchanged. The absence of a proper sewer system not only jeopardizes our health but also impacts the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our neighborhood.

We urge the Haridwar Nagar Nigam to prioritize this matter and take immediate action to implement a robust sewer and drainage system in our locality. This long-standing issue requires urgent attention, and we request your prompt intervention to alleviate the suffering of the residents.
